Barely created at no true infrastructure but plenty and plenty to do in the area.
Rich in Indian arts, fossils, wild life, scenic views, perfect night skies, etc.
Beautiful place......nice town nearby.
Have not been able to spend a lot of time here yet but I found some great rock art.
Basin and Range National Monument is not located in Las Vegas as Google Maps is indicating. That's where a local coordinator's office is. The monument is actually north of Las Vegas.
Although this NM is quite new, it has a friendly small staff that can answer your questions here. Or give your opinions on what the park should be. Have at it people...its your park.... if you can keep it.
